How to Set Up Kick Alerts on Discord

This guide gets a Kick.com live alert into your Discord server in under a minute. You only need the "Manage Server" permission in your Discord server.

1. Invite Kick.bot to your server:
   • Open the invite link and pick your server.
   • Leave the requested permissions as they are, they cover everything below.
2. Find the streamer you want alerts for:
   • Go to kick.com and open the streamer's page.
   • Copy their link, for example https://kick.com/xqc, or just their name, xqc.
3. Run the /add command:
   • Use /add in any channel of your server.
   • Paste the link or name into the "streamer" option.
   • Pick the channel where alerts should post in the "channel" option.
4. Done, the alert works:
   • The next time that streamer goes live, the bot posts an alert in your channel.
   • Repeat /add for every streamer you want, up to 50 on the free plan.

Make the alerts yours

The default alert is only the start. A few optional extras:

• Custom messages: use the "message" option of /add, or edit later with /edit. Run /variables to see placeholders like [[STREAMER]], [[TITLE]] and [[URL]].
• Embeds and buttons: build the full message visually in the Message Builder, then paste the JSON into the message option. See the embed guide for details.
• Filters: skip alerts whose stream title matches a pattern, for example reruns, with notification filters.
• More than alerts: add subscriber roles, gift leaderboards and channel counters with the other commands covered in the feature guides.
